Home » Hockey NewsMohon-Schalmont Sends 3 to higher levelsJuly 5, 2008 By Stephen Brown of Mohonasen High SchoolMohonasen/Schalmont Varsity Hockey is proud to announce the advancement of 2 players to Jr. A programs and 1 players to a College program. Senior Captain, Ken Lancto has been offered a contract by the Binghamton Jr. Senators of the Atlantic Junior Hockey League and Senior Goaltender, Scott Lindell has been offered a contract by the Boston Jr. Blackhawks of the International Junior Hockey League. Senior Captain, Anthony Saccocio has been accepted to the University of Arizona and will be continuing his hockey career with the Wildcats. Head Coach Stephen Brown said "We are excited that these three individuals took advantage of their opportunities to continue their hockey careers at the next level. It shows the level of dedication that our players have and the level of energy that our staff puts in to providing a first-class program for our student athletes." Congratulations to Anthony, Ken, and Scott and good luck with your new teams! |
